About CPI Marine

CPI Marine's manufacturing and quality processes are rigorous. Our design and manufacturing experts can create new designs to meet the boat builders specific requirements using a state of the art CAD/CAM system, or can reference the hundreds of patterns already on file. Each collar is accurately cut out by computer-controlled cutting table, ensuring a perfect fit every time. Every product is pressure tested for 24 hours prior to delivery to ensure no pressure loss. All products come with a one year parts and fabric warranty. CPI Marine has a long history in the inflatables industry which makes our product one you can rely on!

Air Collar with Removable Bladder Specs

Construction

  • 40 oz/sq yd urethane-coated polyester fabric

  • Seams are heat welded with color-matching seam tape applied

  • Heavy grade extruded PVC rub strake 8 or 16 inch

  • Outfitted with stainless steel D-Rings

  • Standard boat rope strips for attaching the collar to the boat

  • Custom attachments can be substituted

Removable Air Bladders

  • Each chamber has it's own removable, repairable and replaceable air bladder with an air valve assembly containing fill valve and PRV

  • Bladders are constructed of urethane film and can be replaced in minutes thereby reducing down time

  • All collars are supplied with a repair kit

  • Repair kit contains all tools needed to remove, repair, and replace bladders

  • All seams on the bladders are heat welded

  • Bladders are inflatable and come with psi limits in the instruction booklets provided with the repair kit

Outer Fabric

  • 40 oz/sq yd urethane-coated polyester fabric

  • Heat welded and double taped seams

  • 1/2 inch diameter solid PVC extruded rope [rope bolt attachments]

  • Attachment flaps with various rope diameters or without rope are available

  • Standard colors are gray, orange and black

  • Custom colors available

Foam

  • 2.2 lbs/cu ft closed-cell polyethylene [PE] foam

  • Natural color [Off White]

  • Water absorption less than 0.3 lbs/sq ft exposed/Less than 3% by volume

  • Completed foam sections heat-welded and hot-wired shaped to finished profile

Air Bladder

  • Sits in behind the polyethylene foam enabling the collar to give when used primarily as a bumper

  • Heavy duty and wear resistant urethane film construction

  • Heat-welded seams

  • Usually one or two bladders are used per port/starboard side of the boat

  • Remote topping valve accessible from outside of the collar

  • Custom valve arrangements or configurations available
